I am now participating in Etsy Project Embrace, a Coalition of Artists and Vintage Collectors whose main purpose is to create awareness and support for people who have been diagnosed with Cancer, whatever kind it may be. The project began as a way to help my sister and fellow Etsian, Laura Slocum, who had been diagnosed with the same cancer that took our mother; Ovarian Cancer. After almost a year of tough chemo treatments, I am happy to say Laura is cancer free! Read more about Laura and her incredible journey on her Blog.
